What is FuelFox?
FuelFox is an app-based onsite fuel-delivery service providing a safer, cleaner and more efficient way to fill up personal vehicles and commercial fleets.
What areas does FuelFox currently service?
Adamsville, Alabaster, Bessemer, Center Point, Fultondale, Gardendale, Homewood, Hoover, Hueytown, Irondale, Leeds, Meadowbrook 119 Exit, Mountain Brook, Pelham, Trussville, and Vestavia Hills.
What are the hours of operation?
24 hours a day, seven days a week.
During the day, FuelFox delivers fuel to “Fox Spots.” FuelFox will be at “Fox Spots” on a weekly schedule at same time and same day each week. FuelFox’s “Fox Spots” will be published on the app.
At night, FuelFox delivers fuel to fleet vehicles while they are not in use, reducing expenses and increasing productivity for companies.
What types of gas does FuelFox deliver and where does it come from?
Currently, FuelFox delivers 87 and 93 octanes. FuelFox will likely provide diesel service in the future. The FuelFox fuel is the same clean, high quality gas sold at gas stations. FuelFox buys its fuel from very reputable, well respected suppliers.

What does it mean to be a FuelFox member?
In order to receive service through FuelFox you must be a registered member. Members easily schedule future gas tank fill-ups with FuelFox.
How do I become a FuelFox member?
To become a FuelFox member, the user simply downloads the FuelFox app and creates a profile. The profile will ask for their year, make, model, color, license plate of their vehicle, photo of vehicle and their “service location."
What is cost of FuelFox and how do I pay?
For individuals, the membership fee is $20 per month or $220 annually. Discounts can be offered to businesses with a high adoption rate. Preferred payment information is also stored within the FuelFox app.
For fleets, the fee is customized based upon the number of vehicles in the fleet and the frequency of fueling.
What technology is in place to protect customers payment information?
FuelFox does not store Personally Identifiable Information (PII) on its system. FuelFox has partnered with an extremely reputable third-party payment processor to handle payments. The payment processor stores the PII information and the payment processor has the highest security level in the country and stores more PII than any other finance company in the country.

What type of vehicles will FuelFox service?
FuelFox can provide fuel to anything that requires fuel, including motorcycles, lawn equipment and ATVs that visit at a Fox Spot.
What is a “Fox Spot?”
FuelFox delivers fuel to service locations or “Fox Spots” on a schedule at the same time and same day each week. These include office buildings, gyms, malls, apartment, airports, schools, etc. Members receive a reminder the evening before that FuelFox will be at their "service location" the following day.
On the day of service, the member will receive another reminder as they are driving into their “Fox Spot” and asks if they need fuel. The member simply hits the app to schedule the FuelFox service and the app will pinpoint the location of the vehicle and then ask the member to confirm that their gas door is open before they exit the vehicle. The member confirms the service request on the app and that is all the member needs to do. *Members do not need to be present during service visits.
What all is included in a visit from a FuelFox service?

How do you schedule a Fill Up?
Through the app, members will receive a notification that the FuelFox truck is at their service location and asks if they need fuel. The member simply hits the app to schedule the FuelFox service and the app will pinpoint the location of the vehicle and then ask the member to confirm that their gas door is open before they exit the vehicle. The member confirms the service request on the app and that is all the member needs to do.
Does customer need to be present for fill up?
No, the member simply confirms the service request on the app and leaves their gas cap open and that is all the member needs to do.
What about gas caps?
The member will receive reminders through the FuelFox app to ensure gas caps have been left open.
Is there a fee for cancelling an order or a membership?
If there is a problem fulfilling an order, will FuelFox contact the customer?
Yes. Ambassadors will text or call the member to let them know there was a problem fulfilling the order and the Ambassador will attempt to resolve the problem. If the Ambassador is unable to get in touch with the member or resolve the problem, the Ambassador will send the member a message letting them know that there was a problem fulfilling the order, that attempts were made to resolve the problem, and that FuelFox is sorry that we were unable to fulfill the order and service the member’s vehicle at this time.
How do I know how much I was charged?
Once the vehicle is serviced, the member will immediately receive a receipt notifying them that their vehicle was serviced, the number of gallons received, the price per gallon, and the amount charged to their credit card on file.
FuelFox Safety Questions:
Who operates the FuelFox trucks?
Drivers, referred to as Ambassadors, are firefighters. Beyond their extensive hazardous materials training as firefighters, Ambassadors will have a commercial license with hazardous materials certification.
What safety precautions will be put into place?
Safety is the highest priority for FuelFox. FuelFox complies with all fire codes, EPA regulations, and Department of Transportation requirements.
Does FuelFox have the necessary equipment to clean up a fuel spill in the unlikely event that it happens?
Yes, a spill kit is on each truck and a catch-pan is placed under the vehicle that is being serviced to catch any overflow of fuel. In addition, Ambassadors are firefighters who have extensive training in hazardous materials.
Will FuelFox trucks be equipped with cameras?
Yes. FuelFox trucks will have multiple cameras digitally recording each side of the truck, including the vehicle that is being serviced. If there is an issue, FuelFox will have time stamped video of the service.
Logistics of equipment?
- Truck size: FuelFox has a fleet of medium duty trucks. The trucks are the most common types of trucks used to transport goods short distances. FuelFox trucks are very safe, reliable, are able to get into tight spaces, and are very maneuverable.
- Length of truck: FuelFox’s trucks are 8’ tall and only 14’ long.
- How much gas does the truck hold? 1,200 gallons. FuelFox tanks have 2 compartments that hold 600 gal each, so FuelFox can serve 87 octane and 93 octanes.
- Quality of 50 -foot hose used for gas: Continental Tire makes the hose. It complies with all codes and regulations. It is Underwriters Laboratories (UL) 330 approved, which UL applies to products that have been designed and approved for the US market and have received specific UL certification that they comply with the respective US standards. The hose of the highest quality materials and most durable hose made to pump gas. It is the same hose used to pump gas at gas stations and marinas.
